Almost a month old

5/18-20

Each day Karma gets more and more trusting of me. I have been so patient with her and she is really learning to trust people again. In the beginning she only would come out for me, but now she comes out for my husband as well. The kittens are very social and I think that they are showing her that its fun to play with the humans and they won't hurt you.

Destiny is still the leader of the pack and is the first to do everything. She comes running to see me as soon as she hears my voice. She is already climbing out of the initial whelping area and exploring.

Fate is stil the littlest and her eyes are so soulful. She looks you right in the face and holds your gaze. She will be a lap kitten and enjoy the one on one attention. She also runs to see me when she hears m voice. It breaks my heart each morning when I go down to feed them and then come running. Super cute!

Kimet is still the biggest boy. He is gorgeous and his coat has changed a bit. You can faintly see tabby marking underneath his gray coat. He is going to be a knockout. He hangs back and lets his sisters lead the way. He is also the most vocal. When he doesn't get what he wants his cry is ear piercing.

Chance is also a bit shy but learning to enjoy people. He tolerated being hugged, squeezed and kissed but prefers to be down on the ground exploring. He is also going to be a bis boy. He is also quite the playmate. He bites his siblings and plays pretty rough with Kismet.

Karma has a minor health problem. She has a blocked mammary gland and if it doesn't unblock by next week we will need to start her on antibiotics. The problem with this is that she will need to be separated from her kittens and they are not eating food yet. We are starting to try food with them, but they aren't interested. Please say a prayer that her gland unblocks and she can stay with her kittens. I think being separated from them will really cause a step back for her.

I want to remind everyone that we MUST find great homes for each of them. If you or anyone you know if interested in adopting one, please have them call or email me.
