Its Karma . . .

Monday, April 24th
One of my clients, Theresa, had been feeding little kitty over the winter and noticed that she seemed to be getting very "wide". Theresa reached out to Kathy, one of the great teams members here at Home Sweet Home. Kathy let Theresa know that the kitty wasn't just fat, but pregnant.

As a pet lover, Theresa asked Kathy for help. She didn't want the momma kitty living outside. She didn't seem feral and Theresa could get within a couple feet of her. Kathy then called me and brought me up to date on the situation and asked if I would help trap the cat. I agreed so we went over to Theresa's house armed with canned food and a crate. We didn't have a live trap so we waited and tried to entice her with food. No dice!

I noticed there were several farm type buildings around so I suggested we go look around and see if we could find the kitty. Just as we were about to give up, I found a live trap in one of the buildings and it worked! This was almost too good to be true. So we went back to Theresa's and set the trap with yummy canned food inside and put a blanket over the top.

At 9:30pm, the momma kitty still has now turned up so we took down the trap and decided to put it back out in the morning.

Check back tomorrow for more of the story
