Karma is settling into her routine well. Each day I try to get her further outside her comfort zone. I've expanded her "living area" So that she is forced to walk bit to get her food and use the litter box. I also no longer let her eat in the whelping box where it's "safe" instead I taker oohed out at breafast and dinner to eat. She's not completely comfortable leaving her safe zone but the need to eat outweighs the decision.
On Wednesday I decided to bring her and the babies upstairs in my office. While the dogs were outside Karma wondered the house and checked everything out. Then when the dog came inside (but were behind a gate)she got more nervous and was really uncomfortable so after and hour I took her back to her safe spot. Thursday and I tried it again She made it an about 1 and 1/2 hours before getting really upset. I just want to get her used to household noises and things that are "normal" for an inside cat. She is coming around slowly. It just takes patience and lots of treats.
We also can finally announce the sex of the kittens, I'm going to make you wait one more day so we can announce a contest. Check back here tomorrow for the details.
